Notice Of Confirmation Of Modification Order Section 53 Of The Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981
The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Hook Norton Footpaths No. 9 (Part) and No. 40 Modification Order 2022
On 16 November 2022, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Adding to them the Footpath from Clay Bank at SP 3508 3366 running west-north-westwards for approximately 542 metres to its junction with FP9 at SP 3456 3381 and amending the width in the Definitive Statement for existing Footpath No. 9 to state that it is 20 feet wide with the exception of SP 3456 3381 to SP 3445 3383 which is 9.1 metres (30 feet) wide. The order as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 24 November 2022, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
