London Borough Of Merton Waiting And Loading Restrictions And Revocation Of 20 Minute Maximum Stay Parking Bays, Wimbledon Bridge The Merton (Waiting And Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 512) Order 2022 The Merton (Parking Places) (Revocation) (No. 11 Order 2022

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 22 November 2022, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to: -

(a) remove the 20 minutes maximum stay parking bays located in the street or length of street specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) prohibit waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicles) 'at any time' in the street or length of street specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(c) prohibit waiting by vehicles for the purposes of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for a period of more than 40 minutes in the same place between 7am and 10am and between 4pm and 7pm Mondays to Saturdays in the street or' length of street specified in the Schedule to this notice.

N.B. The picking up and dropping off of passengers will be permitted.
3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into force on 28 November 2022, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan specifying the lengths of road affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 22 November 2022, made the above-mentioned Orders under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the 'Free Parking Places' Order will be to: -

(a) designate a parking place on the carriageway at each of the locations listed in the Schedule to this Notice, in which vehicles authorised by the Order may be left for any period without charge;

(b) provide that the parking places will operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;

(c) specify, in respect of the parking places, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;

(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc.

3. The general effect of the 'Parking Places Amendment' Orders will be to shorten in length existing permit parking places to enable the introduction of disabled persons parking places at certain locations described in the Schedule to this notice.

4. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into force on 28 November 2022, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the roads or lengths of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours Mondays to Fridays, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

London Borough Of Merton 30 Mph Speed Limit - Bushey Road The Merton (Restricted Road) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2022 The Merton (20 Mph Speed Limit) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2022
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 22 November 2022, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 82, 83, 84 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to revoke the Merton (Restricted Road) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2021 and the Merton (20MPH Speed Limit) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2021 and re-introduce their provisions with amendments so as to increase the speed limit from 20 m.p.h to 30 m.p.h. on Bushey Road, (the A298), between its junction with Martin Way and its junction with Grand Drive.

3 A copy of the Orders, which will come into force on 5 December 2022, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan specifying the length of road affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX. London Borough Of Merton Amendment To Cpz Zone Rpc Proposed Relocation Of 2 Parking Places In Orchard Lane, Raynes Park The Merton (Parking Places) (Rpc) (Amendment No. *) Order 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Order under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to relocate the two parking places outside Nos. 9 and 11 Orchard Lane to the locations specified in the Schedule to this notice. (The lengths of the parking places would not be reduced).

3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the road or length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden. Schedule

1. ORCHARD LANE, the south-east side, from a point 7 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 9 and 11 Orchard Lane, south-westward for a distance of 4.8 metres. (Two wheels on the footway).

2. ORCHARD LANE, the south-east side, from a point 8.8 metres north­east of the common boundary of Nos. 9 and 11 Orchard Lane, north­eastward for a distance of 10 metres. (Two wheels on the footway).

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (Public Right Of Way/Bridleway No. 49) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) (No. 2) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the construction of a temporary egress road from the Tesco car park to Burlington Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to continue to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and persons on horseback and cyclists from entering or proceeding in Public Right of Way No. 49/Bridleway No. 49, which runs between Beverley Way and Burlington Road.

2. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any person engaged in the execution of the said construction works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform.

4. Pedestrians affected by the footpath closure should proceed via Burlington Road and Beverley Way or vice-versa.

5. The Order will apply from Wednesday 7th December 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 20th January 2023. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months should further works be required. Dated 24 November 2022.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
(Milton Road. SW19) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the maintenance and repair of service pipes in Milton Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Milton Road, from the common boundary of Nos. 4 and 6 Milton Road to the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 26 Milton Road; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in paragraph (a) above; or

(c) enter or proceed in the northern footway of Milton Road between the common boundary of Nos. 5 and 7 Milton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 13 and 15 Milton Road.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed:-

(a) westbound via Haydons Road, Dryden Road and Garfield Road or via Haydons Road, Cowper Road and Garfield Road;

(b) eastbound via Garfield Road, Dryden Road and Haydons Road or via Garfield Road, Cowper Road and Garfield Road.

6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent the footway closure will be maintained at all times.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 5th December 2022 and the works are anticipated to be completed by 7th December 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
(Hertford Way. CR4) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022



1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water service connections and ancillary works in Hertford Way, CR4, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Hertford Way, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Carisbrooke Road south-eastward for a distance of 25 metres; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in paragraph (a) above; or

(c) enter or proceed in the north-eastern footway of Hertford Way adjacent to No. 48 Carisbrooke Road.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Carisbrooke Road, Berkshire Way and Yorkshire Road or Yorkshire Road, Westmorland Way and Carisbrooke Road.

6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 5th December 2022 and remain in force for 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The works are anticipated to be completed by 5th May 2023.
