ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ('the Council') proposes to make the Orders named below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which if they come into force will introduce the following:-

BRIGHTON & HOVE VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2018 AMENDMENT ORDER NO.* 202* (TRO-34A-2022)

- Amends loading restrictions and loading bays on Western Road.

BRIGHTON & HOVE (VARIOUS ROADS) (ONE WAY) TRAFFIC ORDER 2012 AMENDMENT ORDER NO.* 202* (TRO-34B-2022)

- Amend current one-ways to allow pedal cycles to travel contraflow to the one-way in Castle Street, Hampton Place, Hampton Street, Little Preston Street, Silwood Road, Spring Street and Stone Street.

BRIGHTON & HOVE (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (WESTERN ROAD AREA, BRIGHTON) ORDER NO.2 202* (TRO-34C-2022)

- Amend the Prohibition of Driving at Marlborough Street into Western Road to allow pedal cycles.

A copy of this Notice, the proposed Orders, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros

All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should be sent to the Executive Director Economy, Environment & Culture, Brighton & Hove City Council, c/o Parking Design & Implementation, Room G40, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road Hove, BN3 3BQ quoting the TRO reference number shown above or by e-mail to TROcomment@brighton-hove.gov.uk or online (see details above) no later than 16th December 2022.
