The County Council of Durham (Crossgate Peth side road, Durham City) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 22/4/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 18 metres of side Crossgate Peth (side of number 1 Alexandria Crescent), Durham to enable telecom pole testing works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the western side of the closure from Crossgate Peth north westerly via rear Alexandria Crescent, north easterly on The Avenue then south easterly on A690 Alexandria Crescent to the eastern side ot the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 27/11/22 from 9.30am and are anticipated to be completed in 6 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
