Essex County Council

(Footpath 166, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends to make the above Order under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close to all traffic under section S14(1) of The Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended) Footpath 166, in the District of Harlow, from its junction with London Road, eastwards for a distance of approximately 800 metres to its junction with Footpath 162, Harlow.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 02 December 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to ensure the safety of the public and workforce whilst works to form new Kennels Lane is being undertaken.

The alternative route will be via London Road, heading north to its junction with the B1383 Gilden Way, heading east on the B1383 Gilden Way to its junction with Footpath 162, then south on Footpath 162 to its junction with Footpaths 166 and 167, and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 02 December 2022 and may continue in force for six months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. This Order may be extended by the Secretary of State.

(River Way and A1184 Cambridge Road) (Banned Turns) Order 202*

that, in addition to Notices on the 20 October 2022 and the 10 November 2022, the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996.

Effect of the order:
1. To prohibit vehicles proceeding eastbound on River Way from making a left hand turn on to A1184 Cambridge Road.
2. To prohibit vehicles proceeding southbound on A1184 Cambridge Road from making a right hand turn on to River Way.
3. To prohibit vehicles proceeding westbound on River Way from making a left hand turn on to the Private Access Road.
4. To prohibit vehicles proceeding southbound on A1184 Cambridge Road from making a right hand turn on to the Private Access Road.

(Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.45) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order: To amend the existing 'No Waiting Tuesday 7am-5pm' on both sides of The Hornbeams outside The Conyers to 'No Waiting Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am-12:30pm'.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile number TL 440 107 revision 2 with revision 3.

Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Herons Lane, Fyfield in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 540m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th December 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS469480A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Coopersale Street, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Coopersale Street, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Mount Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th December 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410170858CS - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Coopersale Street, Houblons Hill, Stonards Hill, Lindsey Street, Palmers Hill, High Street, Station Road, Bower Hill, Stewards Green Road and vice versa.

(Epping Road, Roydon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Epping Road, Roydon in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 140m southwest of its junction with High Street to its junction with Old House Lane a distance of approximately 2405m. The closure is scheduled to commence for 3 weekends only (in 3 separate phases) on (3rd and 4th December 2022), (10th and 11th December 2022) and (17th and 18th December 2022), or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBNP3H5V019 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance and spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Epping Road, Harlow Road, Roydon Road, Elizabeth Way, Third Avenue, Katherine's Way, Southern Way, Water Lane, Tylers Road, Epping Road Roundabout and vice versa.

(Mount End Road, Theydon Mount) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Mount End Road, Theydon Mount in the Epping Forest, from a point approximately 285m northeast of its junction with Mount Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th December 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWD7TF36W001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while joint box installation and ducting works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Banks Lane, Mount Road and vice versa.

(Norton Lane, High Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Norton Lane, High Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 180m west then southwest of its junction with Willingale Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a southwesterly then northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th December 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410168869 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water leak repair works areundertaken by Affinity Water

(Various Roads, District of Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Introduction of a 30mph Speed Limit) (No.6) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule to this Order.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only.

All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 17th November 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
