D2157 Fairford Gardens, Worcester Park and D2441 West Street, Ewell
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

On 23 November 2022 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of: -
a) D2157 Fairford Gardens, Worcester Park.
b) D2441 West Street, Ewell.

This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out resurfacing and/or surface treatments/dressing and/or improvement and/or maintenance works.

These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within 7 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 December 2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. For D2157 Fairford Gardens, Worcester Park, access for residents and businesses will be maintained via the vehicular diversion route: - D2229 Inveresk Gardens, D2147 Elmstead Gardens, D2147 Woodlands Avenue and D2141 Edenfield Gardens. For the length of D2441 West Street, Ewell that extends from its junction with B2200 Ewell High Street, to its junction with D2436 West Gardens, access for residents and businesses will be maintained via the vehicular diversion route: B2200 High Street, C254 High Street, C254 Epsom Rod, D2242 The Kingsway and D2436 West Gardens. For the length of D2441 West Street, Ewell that extends from its junction with D2436 West Gardens, to its junction with D2253 Larby Place that is a cul-de-sac, there is no applicable diversion route, access for residents and businesses will be maintained wherever reasonably possible.

In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the roads can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle's owner.

B284 Old Malden Lane, Worcester Park
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order No.2 2022

On 23 November 2022 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: -
1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of B284 Old Malden Lane, Worcester Park that extends from the south-eastern property boundary of "Orelia", to the north-eastern property boundary "Riverbank Lodge".
2. Suspend "The Surrey County Council B284 Old Malden Lane Worcester Park Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022" in its entirety.

This Traffic Order is required to enable SQS to carry out service pipe repair and/or maintenance works.

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am and 7pm within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 November 2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. No sole access will be affected, access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained to the point of works, via the vehicular diversion route: - Cromwell Road, Grafton Road, The Avenue, Malden Road, Church Road.
