Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Goring Heath, Shirvells Hill Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 5 December 2022 Coming into force: 12 December 2022 This Order is being introduced because of installation of new Thames Water hydrant which is anticipated to be completed 18 December 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any through traffic proceeding in Shirvells Hill. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Goring Road, Bridle Path, Whitehouse Road, Pot Kiln Lane, Shirvells Hill and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T11040/AC)

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Steventon Footpath Closure Date of closure: 18 November 2022 Date of Order: 28 November 2022 Coming into force: 9 December 2022 This Order continues in force a closure by Notice introduced because of resurfacing work on the Footpath which is anticipated to be completed 16 December 2022. This is a 24 hour footpath closure. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath 366/20/10 and 299/14/10 north and west of Steventon Railway Bridge. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

The alternative route for those affected by the closure is via a parallel path to the north (FP.299/14/20, 299/18/30, 299/18/10, 366/15/20, 366/15/10, 366/14/30 and vice versa). This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T11207/AC)
