Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians Order
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 Public Footpath No. 1 In The Community Of Sealand
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 18 November 2022 to make an Order which will prohibit pedestrians from using that section of Public Footpath No. 1 in the Community of Sealand from its junction with Welsh Road at NGR 33228 36876 to its junction near Hawarden Bridge at NGR 33171 36940.
The reason for the closure is to allow for Civil Engineering works for a new outfall pipe into the River Dee and associated works by D Morgan Plc.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 05 December 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter. The footpath is expected to be closed until 30 April 2023, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of six months. A B/FCC (TTRO) 044975

Notice of Proposal to Implement SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR Carriageway Markings at Cornist CP School, Flint, Flintshire NOTICE is hereby given that Flintshire County Council in exercise of its powers under The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, propose to introduce a 'School Keep Clear' restriction, up to 43 metres in length on FFORDD YR YSGOL, FLINT, on the south-west and south-east side of the carriageway at the entrance to Cornist CP School. Vehicles would be prohibited from stopping on the yellow zig-zag markings indicating the restriction between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. Reason for Proposal: Complaints have been received about obstructive parking particularly at school peak times in the area around the entrance to the Cornist CP School. The Council therefore proposes to introduce a No stopping on School Keep Clear marking restriction. The purpose of providing School Keep Clear markings is to keep the space outside of schools free from parked vehicles so that children can be seen more easily when crossing the road.
