OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
BOURTON PARISH SPEED LIMITS ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Bourton nr. Faringdon, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in its entirety, leading out of the village to the following points:
1. Avenue Road - a point 60 metres northeast of its junction with The Hill.
2. The unnamed road between Bourton & Bishopstone/ Wanborough - a point 276 metres south-east of its junction with Mill Lane/The Hill.
3. The unnamed road from Lower Bourton to the A420 -a point 483 metres north-west of its junction with Avenue Road.
Additionally, new 30mph speed limits will be introduced in the vicinity of Home Farm & The Grange, and Fern Farm, in place of the existing 60mph National Speed Limit, having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account:
4. The unnamed road between Bourton & Bishopstone/ Wanborough - from a point 276 metres southeast of its junction with Mill Lane/The Hill, south-eastwards to a point 40 metres southeast of its junction with the unnamed road to the B4000, signposted to Pinewood School.
5. The unnamed road to the B4000 (signposted to Pinewood School) - from its junction with the unnamed road between Bourton & Bishopstone/Wanborough, northwards for a distance of 370 metres.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Bourton Parish) Order 2000 will be revoked/replaced as necessary.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 16 December 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.

FREELAND AND HANBOROUGH PARISHES SPEED LIMITS ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Church Hanborough, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in its entirety, leading out of the village to the following points:
1. Church Road
a. North of the village - a point 270 metres northwest of its junction with Mansell Close.
b. South of the village - a point 233 metres east of its junction with Pigeon House Lane.
2. Pigeon House Lane - a point 97 metres west of its junction with Church Road.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Freeland and Hanborough Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2019 will be revoked/ replaced as necessary.

SOMERTON PARISH 20MPH SPEED LIMIT

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Somerton, replacing the existing 30mph speed limit in its entirety, leading out of the village to the following points:
1. Ardley Road - a point 266 metres southeast of Fritwell Road.
2. Walter Street - a point 16 metres northwest of the canal bridge.
3. Fritwell Road - a point 104 metres northeast of Ardley Road.
4. Heyford Road - a point 208 metres south of The Paddocks.
