Notice of Confirming of an Order

Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2022
Footpath 2 Fyfield

On 27 October 2022 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order map is to divert a part length of Footpath 2 Fyfield of unknown width shown by a bold continuous black line on the order map commencing from a point immediately to the east of the property known as The Dairy Barn at Envilles Farm running in a southerly direction for c.40m to a point close to its junction with Footpath 2 Little Laver to a footpath being 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken black line on the order map commencing at a point 27m to the east of the original commencement point running in a southerly then westerly direction around a fenced area to the aforementioned point close to the junction with Footpath 2 Little Laver.
Copies of the order and order map can be requested to be posted or viewed by emailing publicpathorders@essexhighways.org to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents quoting the Order title. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council, County Hall, E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. The alternative route comes into force on 24 November 2022 and the old route shall be stopped up with effect from 1 December 2022, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 17 November 2022 make an application to the High Court.

Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2022 Footpath 8 Theydon Mount

The above order, made on 24 October 2022 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpath 8 Theydon Mount of unknown width shown by a bold continuous black line on the order map commencing at the northwestern corner of the field to the immediate north of the property known as Colemans Farm and running in a southeasterly direction across two fields for a total distance of 260 metres to the point where the path connects to Footpath 7 Theydon Mount, to an alternative route 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken black line on the order map commencing at the aforementioned point north of Colemans Farm and running in a northeasterly direction along the northern edge of two fields for a total distance of 263 metres to the point at the northeastern corner of the field north of the property known as Broadhill Barn where it meets Footpath 7 Theydon Mount.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Alan Roscoe, Public Rights of Way, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 15 December 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.

Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2022 Footpaths 20, 24, 25, 26 and 27 North Weald Bassett

On 27 October 2022 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order map is to divert footpaths as follows: Footpath 20
A part length of Footpath 20 North Weald Bassett of unknown width shown by a bold continuous black line on the order map as a cross-field route commencing at the crossing point of Shonks Brook southwest of Sewalds Hall ('the property') running in a southeasterly direction to a point c.650m south of the property to a footpath being 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken black line on the order map commencing at the aforementioned start point running in a southeasterly direction alongside Shonks Brook and finishing at the aforementioned termination point south of the property. Footpath 24

A part length of Footpath 24 North Weald Bassett of unknown width shown by a bold continuous black line on the order map commencing from a point on a field edge c.350m north of the property and running in a generally southerly direction, passing immediately adjacent to the property, to a field edge c.700m south of the property to a footpath being 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken black line on the order map commencing at the aforementioned point north of the property running initially in an easterly direction then continuing in a southerly direction to the aforementioned field edge south of the property. A part length of Footpath 25 North Weald Bassett of unknown width shown by a continuous black line on the order map commencing from the access road just west of Sewalds Hall Cottages running in a southeasterly then easterly direction, passing immediately to the north of the property, before reaching the junction with Footpath 30 Magdalen Laver at the eastern side of a lake to a footpath being 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken black line on the order map commencing at the aforementioned start point running initially crossfield in a southeasterly direction then continuing in a easterly direction around a field edge to the aforementioned termination point. A part length of Footpath 26 North Weald Bassett of unknown width shown by a continuous black line on the order map commencing at the access road immediately to the southwest of the property running in an easterly direction and immediately to the south of the property to the field edge to the east of the property to a footpath being 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken black line on the order map commencing at the junction with Footpath 27 running initially crossfield in an easterly direction then continuing in a southeasterly direction along a field edge to where it meets Footpath 24 c.300m southeast of the property. The entire length of Footpath 27 North Weald Bassett of unknown width shown by a continuous black line on the order map commencing at the aforementioned junction with the diverted route of Footpath 26 running in a northeasterly direction to a point immediately northwest of the property to a footpath being 2 metres in width shown by
a bold broken black line on the order map commencing at the aforementioned start point running in northerly direction alongside Shonks Brook then continuing in a northeasterly direction around the field edge to a termination point on access road. (Collins Cross Road, Matching) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Collins Cross Road, Matching in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 35m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th December 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06049562/AP -Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water An alternative route is available via Collins Cross Road, Church Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Hoe Lane, Lambourne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hoe Lane, Lambourne in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Alderwood Drive to its junction with New Road a distance of approximately 1535m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th December 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2335658 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway and cycleway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Hoe Lane, London Road, Abridge Road, Gravel Lane, Lambourne Road, Manor Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(School Road, Stanford Rivers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Stanford Rivers in the District of Epping Forest, from the northernmost junction with Epping Road for a distance of approximately 170m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th December 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410181231 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap and boundary box installation works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via School Road, Toot Hill Road, Mill Lane, Greensted Road, The Borough, High Street, Four Wantz Roundabout, Fyfield Road, High Ongar Road, Coopers Hill, Stanford Rivers Road, Romford Road, London Road, Church Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Old Road, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Cambridge Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southeasterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of Old Road, Harlow for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2022 for 396 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153068499 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal decommissioning and carriageway development works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Old Road, Hart Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 10th November 2022 and may continue in force
for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(The Stow, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of The Stow, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Howard Way for a distance of approximately 90m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on
the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in
the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th December 2022 for 5 days, or where stated

may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole
and cable installation works are undertaken by T Mobile Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Howard Way, First Avenue, Orchard Croft, The Stow
and vice versa.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway and a 30mph Speed Limit) (No.8) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 10th November 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
