1.
Notice Is Hereby Given
 that the Council of the London Borough of Brent on 14th November 2022 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the 'Waiting and Loading Restriction' Order will be to further amend the Brent (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1979, so that:-

(a) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be prohibited at any time in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

(b) waiting by vehicles (for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be prohibited at any time in the lengths of street specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice;

(c) waiting by vehicles for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for a period of more than 40 minutes in the same place will be prohibited at the times and in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

(d) the sale or offer for sale of goods from a vehicle will be prohibited (except on Sundays) in the lengths of streets specified in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Notice, unless there is in force a valid licence issued by the Brent Borough Council or the goods are immediately taken into or delivered at premises adjacent to the vehicle from which the sale is effected;

(e) the use of any vehicle or of any animal or the wearing of fancy dress or other costume, wholly or mainly for the purpose of advertising will be prohibited in the lengths of streets specified in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Notice;

(f) any existing prohibition on the waiting by vehicles, the sale or offer for sale of goods from a vehicle or the use of any vehicle or animal or the wearing of fancy dress or other costume wholly or mainly for the purpose of advertising in the lengths of streets specified in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Notice will be revoked.

The prohibitions referred to in sub-paragraphs 2(a) to (c) inclusive above will not apply in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in certain circumstances, e.g., the picking up or setting down of passengers; the carrying out of statutory powers or duties; the taking in of petrol, etc., from roadside petrol stations; to licensed street traders, etc. The usual exemption relating to vehicles displaying a disabled person's "Blue Badge" will apply.

4. The general effect of the 'Good Vehicles Free Loading Places' Order will be to designate free loading place to operate between 8 am and 6.30 pm, Mondays to Saturdays in High Street Harlesden generally located outside No. 129.

5. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 28th November 2022, of maps of the relevant areas and of the above-mentioned Orders of 1979 (and of any Orders which have amended that Order) can be requested via email during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to any of the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Waiting restrictions (At any time) Alington Crescent
(a) the south-eastern arm, between 10.4 metres south of Mallard Way and 15.4 metres south of Mallard Way;

(b) the north-western arm, between 14.4 metres south-west of Mallard Way and 19.4 metres south-west of Mallard Way; Alverstone Road, Wembley

(a) the south-east side, between 13.8 metres south-west of the north-eastern building wall of No. 84 Uxendon Hill and Uxendon Hill;

(a) between 14 metres south-east of Alington Crescent, the eastern arm and 4 metres south-east of Nos. 19 and 21 Mallard Way;

(b) between 10.6 metres north-west of Alington Crescent, the eastern arm and 4 metres north-west of Nos. 23 and 25 Mallard Way;

(c) between 17 metres south-east of Alington Crescent, the western arm and 2.9 metres south-east of Nos. 41 and 43 Mallard Way Oakington Avenue

(a) the north-west side, between 10 metres south-east of Crown Walk and 22 metres south-east of Crown Walk;
