The County Council Of Durham (Lanchester & Langley Park) (Prohibition & Restriction Of Waiting & Loading) Order 2010 (Amendment No. 1) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 & 35 and Part IV of Sch. 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to To introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on:

a.
the northeastern side of the A691 Durham Road, Lanchester from Durham Road's junction with the southernmost access for St Bede's Catholic School and Sixth form for 177 meters in a south easterly direction

b. the southwestern side of the carriageway on the A691 Durham Road, Lanchester from a point 19 metres northwest of the A691 Durham Road's junction with the northern most access for Lanchester Hand Car Wash for 240 metres in a south easterly direction

c.
the western side of the A6076 Howden Bank, Lanchester from its junction with the A691 Durham Road for 113 metres in a northerly direction to the existing No Waiting At Any Time restrictions

d. the eastern side of the A6076 Howden Bank, Lanchester from its junction with the A691 Durham Road for 52 metres in a northerly direction

e. both sides of Bishops Meadow, Lanchester from its junction with the A691 Durham Road for 41 metres in a northerly direction f. the southern side Front Street, Lanchester from the existing restrictions for a distance of 8 metres in a north easterly direction g. the southern side of Front Street, Lanchester from a point 34 metres north east of the existing restrictions for 19 metres in a north easterly direction h. the southern side of Front Street, Lanchester from a point 35 metres south west of the existing restrictions, at the junction of A691 Durham Road and Front Street, for 16 metres in a south westerly direction i. the north-western side of Front Street, Lanchester from a point 15 metres south-west of the junction of Front Street and Fenhall Park for 100 metres in a north-easterly direction to Front Street's junction with the A691 Durham Road j. the north­western side of Front Street, Lanchester for 45 metres from the boundary of Lyndale and Number 22 Croft Court, Front Street in a south westerly direction for 41 metres to its junction with Kitswell Road k. the north-eastern side of Kitswell Road, Lanchester from its junction with Front Street in a north-westerly direction for 10 metres I. the north-western side of Station Road, Lanchester from a point 16 metres south-west of its junction with Church View, in a north easterly direction for 28 metres m. the eastern side of Church View, Lanchester from its junction with Station Road in a northerly direction for 49 metres n. the western side of Church View, Lanchester from its junction with Station Road in a northerly direction for 18 metres to Church View's junction with The Square o. the southern side of The Square, Lanchester from its junction with Church View for 23 metres in a north-westerly direction to The Square's junction with Percy Crescent. To Introduce 'Restricted Waiting Monday - Friday. 8am-4pm' on: the north-western side of Front Street, Lanchester from the boundary of Lyndale and 22 Croft Court for 72 metres in a north easterly direction. To introduce 2no. 'Disabled Badge holders only bays max stay 3 hours' on: the east side of Front Street, Langley Park outside Numbers 49 and 51. All other restrictions locally remain the same. A copy of the draft Order & supporting documents may be inspected at Lanchester Library during normal working hours and via the Council website. Anyone wishing to object to any of the proposals should submit these in writing to
