(Footpath 2, Blounts Wood, Hockley)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use Extension) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the above Order made by Essex County Council under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 26 May 2024.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close part of Footpath 2, Blounts Wood, Hockley in the District of Rochford from its junction with Footpath 1 for its entire length, for a distance of approximately 834 metres to its junction with B1013 High Road, Hockley.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26 November 2022 to 26 May 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required on the grounds of a safety issue identified by Network Rail. The closure is for the safety of the public.

The extension was granted to enable additional time to complete the works. The Prohibition of Use restriction commenced on the 25 November 2022 and is required for the safety of the public.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.3) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 24th November 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Vicarage Hill, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 215m north east of its junction with Kings Road for a distance of approximately 200m in a north easterly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th December 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231007764 - Castle Point Borough Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation clearance works are undertaken by Castle Point Borough Council.

An alternative route is available via Essex Way, High Road and vice versa (with access only into Vicarage Hill).

The Order will come into effect on 24th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) (No.6) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of road as specified in the schedule.

"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.
