TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C274 SANDPOOL LANE (RODMARTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C274 Sandpool Lane from its junction with Chapel Close to outside the property known as Number 14 for a distance of approximately 159 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out electricity supply alteration works. The road is expected to be closed from the 21st November 2022 until the 9th December 2022 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. The reason for the closure is to carry out works relating to footway reconstruction. Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C144 Farmington Road from its junction with High Street to its junction with the Road from Firtree Close to Farmington Road for a distance of approximately 1923 metres.
The reason for the closure is for the installation of the Gigaclear Internet Network. The road is expected to be closed and restricted from the 21st November 2022 until the 2nd December 2022 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made a Variation under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed restrictions described in the Schedule below on Tower Street within the Town of Cirencester in the Cotswold District in the County of Gloucestershire.

1. The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of plans similar to those used in this consultation and which identify the roads or sides of road to which the prohibitions and restrictions of waiting, loading and parking places affect.

2. This Variation shall come into operation on 24th November 2022 and may be cited as the "GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 (TOWER STREET) (TOWN OF CIRENCESTER) (COTSWOLD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2022

The lengths of roads fall within the Town of Cirencester in the Cotswold District in the County of Gloucestershire. The usual exemptions will apply to Statutory Undertakers and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency services vehicles and disabled person's vehicles.

The reason for the closure and restrictions is for ash dieback tree felling. The roads are expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on a rolling programme commencing 5th December 2022 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 24th March 2023.
