Temporary Closure Of Public Bridleway Oal48 And Public Bridleway OAL52 And Restricted Byway OAL52 (Alkington Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the Public Bridleways and Restricted Byway as set out in the schedule below.

Part of Public Bridleway OAL48 in the Parish of Alkington closed temporarily to cyclists and equestrian users from its junction with Damery to Woodpeckers Lane in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 575 metres to its junction with Public Footpath OAL50
Part of Public Bridleway OAL52 in the Parish of Alkington is to be temporarily closed to users from its junction with Public Footpath OAL50 in a generally easterly direction for approximately 55 metres before continuing as Restricted Byway OAL52 for approximately a further 270 meters to its junction with Public Footpath OAL47 The Public Bridleways and Restricted Byway all fall within the Parish of Alkington in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst a bridge inspection is completed. The Order will come into force on the 24th November 2022 and it is anticipated that the said Public Bridleways and Restricted Byway will close on that day until 25th November 2022. However, the Order can permit the closure of the said Public Bridleways and Restricted Byway for up to six months from the date of the initial closure. Alternative Routes - Not Applicable. The reason for the closures is for Ash Dieback tree felling.
The roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing the 5th December 2022 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. It is expected that the roads will be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 daily when the roads are closed. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. Temporary Road Closure 41644 Bradley Road To Bradley Green (Wotton Under Edge Town) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41644 Bradley Road to Bradley Green from its junction with the Upper Junction to Bradley Green to its junction with the Lower Junction to Bradley Green for a total distance of approximately 60 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out tree felling works.

Temporary Road Closure 41470 Union Street (Dursley Town) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41470 Union Street from its junction with Weavers Close to its junction with Hunger Hill for a total distance of approximately 60 metres. The reason for the closure is to lay BT ducting in the Carriageway
In order to facilitate the works it will be necessary to suspend the One Way Restriction Union Street/Hunger Hill -Gloucestershire County Council (Various Roads, Dursley) (General Traffic Regulation) Order, 1992. The road is expected to be closed from the 7th December 2022 until the 9th December 2022 only or until the works have been completed. Temporary Road Closure 4146 Coldharbour Farm To Hydegate (Uley Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 4146 Coldharbour Farm to Hydegate from outside the property known as Coldharbour Farm to outside the property known as Hydegate for a total distance of approximately 910 metres. The reason for the closure is to carry out pole testing.
