Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A)

Norley Lane (Part), Calne Without; from its property known as The Hollies to outside property known as Saxon Lains to enable Gigaclear Limited to locate and resolve blockages affecting customer service and associated works. Alternative route Norley Lane (unaffected length)
- A4 - Studley Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 December 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. For further information please contact Gigaclear Limited on 01865 591100.

B) A346 (Part), Aldbourne and Ogbourne St George; from its junction with Lower Upham Farm Road for a distance of approximately 1.7km in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reactive patching and associated maintenance works. Alternative route via A346 (unaffected length) - M4 - A338 - Bath Road - A4 - London Road - Herd Street - Port Hill - A346 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 December 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 for 4 nights. C) C172 (Part), Kington St Michael; from its junction with Honey Knob Hill to its junction with The Orchard to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out location and resolving blockages to underground network and associated works. Alternative route via C172 (unaffected length) - C72

D) UC 832901 (Part), Littleton Drew, Grittleton; from a distance of approximately 25m south east of its junction with C71 for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out installation of new customer supply and associated works. Alternative route via C71 - B4039 - UC 832901 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 December 2022 and the closure will be required for 3 days. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) Hill Corner Road (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with B4158 to its junction with Greenway Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out footway resurfacing, kerb replacements and ironwork adjustments. Alternative route via Greenway Lane - B4158 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 18:00 until 05 December 2022. F) Marlborough Road, Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with C15 to its junction with New Road to enable Thames Water to carry out the connection of a new commercial supply and associated works. This Order which previously came into operation on 24 October 2022 will now recommence on 24 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 until 28 November 2022. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

This Order which previously came into operation on 30 May 2022 will now recommence on 21 November 2022 and the closure will be required for 7 days. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 06 months. NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL WEST LAVINGTON 12 DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2022 The above order, made on 4 November 2022, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, will divert Footpath West Lavington 12, Dauntsey's School, High Street, West Lavington, at OSGR SU 0007-5376 in a south-easterly direction for approximately 41m to OSGR SU 0010-5373, to a new route at OSGR SU 0007-5376, around the coach, mini-bus and taxi drop-off/pick-up area for approximately 109m to OSGR SU 0010-5373, having a width of 1.5-2m. Thereupon the Devizes Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly.
