SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) (TTO2163) ORDER 2022
(CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING WORKS)

Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea City Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above Order.

1. Southend-on-Sea City Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works

2.The proposed works are listed in Table 1 to this notice

The effect of the order will be to temporarily prohibit traffic, parking, waiting, loading at the various roads stated in Table 1 to this noticed.

3. Further details regarding the impact of the scheme and the actual traffic management controls being applied will be included in notifications in advance of each phase, to residents and businesses as required, not forming part of this Order.

4.The dates provided in Table 1 may vary; notice will be provided at the earliest possible point

5.The Order will be made on 16th November 2022 and is anticipated to be complete 18th January 2023; but may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.

6. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, residents and pedestrians will be always maintained during the closure.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be ssued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
