Various Roads In The Borough

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 9 November 2022 made the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

* The Wandsworth (Clapham Junction) (Parking Places) (No. 6) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Southfields) (Parking Places) (No. 6) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common and Tooting Bee) (Parking Places) (No. 4) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 629) Order 2022

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make certain changes to parking arrangements, as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders which come into operation on 14 November 2022 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Brookwood Road / Elsenham Street, SW18

To remove 4.8 metres of existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and extend existing S2 permit holders’ only parking place at the side of No.49 Elsenham Street on Brookwood Road.

Broomwood Road, SW11

to convert the existing single yellow line at the junctions with Wisley Road, Alfriston Road and Kyrle Road to double yellow lines.

College Gardens - St Catherine's Close, SW17

o remove 18.5m of the D2 permit parking bay and to extend waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) opposite St Catherine’s Close and to convert existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) to waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) both sides of the junction with St Catherine’s Close.

Ellerton Road, SW18

To remove the D5 permit holders only parking bay and to extend waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) outside No.81 Ellerton Road.

Gatwick Road, SW18

To remove 5.2 metres of existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and extend an existing Zone S5 permit holders only parking bay outside No.2a Gatwick Road.

Lavenham Road, SW18

To remove 7.2 metres of existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and extend an existing Zone S3 permit holders only parking bay outside No.144 Lavenham Road.

Linstead WaySW18

To install a section (23.7m) of ‘At Any Time’ waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) adjacent to Andrew Reed House.

to convert the existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) to ‘At Any Time’ waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) at the following junctions:

Thursley Gardens, SW19

to install a small section (4.4 metres) of ‘At Any Time’ waiting restriction, marked as double yellow lines, adjacent to the gates to the gardens at the rear of Nos. 154 to 200 Glen Albyn Road.

Wakehurst Road, SW11

To remove 6.9 metres of existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and extend an existing Zone C2 shared-use parking place at the side of No.96 Leathwaite Road, adjacent to No.86 Wakehurst Road.

Wimbledon Park Road, SW18

To remove the S5 permit holders only parking bay and to extend waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) outside Nos.111 / 113 Wimbledon Park Road.
