The County Council of Durham (Emmerson Street, Crook) (Temporary Road Closure) Order Number 2 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 30 metres of Emmerson Street, Crook from the junction with Bell Street in an easterly direction to the junction with Dawson Street to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from west side of closure in a northernly direction on South Street then onto Church Street in an easterly direction then onto Dawson Street and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 28/11/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
