Cumbria County Council Notice Of Intent To Convert Footway To Shared Use Footway An D Cycletrack -Bridge Road Barrow In Furness

1. Cumbria County Council hereby give notice that it is proposing to convert the above footway to a shared use footway and cycle facility using the powers under Section 66(4) and Section 65(1) of the Highways Act 1980.

2. The existing west side footway on Bridge Road, Barrow-in-Furness approaching the junction of Bridge Road/A590 is proposed to be converted to a shared use segregated footway. For the location of shared use footway or more details, please refer to drawings 70082797-WSP-HGN-DR-CH-0112 (Chainage 610 to 690)

3. The shared use footway will be a minimum 4 metres in width (2m pedestrian & 2m cycle).
