Licensing Act 2003 Notice Of Application For A Premises Licence Under Section 17

Notice is hereby given that on the 27th October 2022 WM Morrison Supermarkets Limited applied to Allerdale Borough Council for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Morrisons Store and Petrol Filling Station, Derwent Drive, Derwent Howe Industrial Estate, Workington, Cumbria CA14 3UG. The proposed licensable activities are;- 1. The sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises from 06:00 to 24:00 on Mondays to Sundays. 2. The provision of late night refreshment from 23:00 to 24:00 on Mondays to Sundays.

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by;- Licensing Department, Allerdale Borough Council, Allerdale House, Workington, Cumbria CA14 3YJ no later than the 24th November 2022 stating the grounds for representations. The register of Allerdale Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected by appointment only at Allerdale House, Newbridge Road, Workington CA14 3YJ between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Appointments can be made by contacting the Licensing Department on 0303 123 1702. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
