Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of Milverton Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Milverton Road - from the junction with Wardleworth way north eastwards for a total distance of 100 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out works for a new connection standard.
The Order becomes effective on 24th November 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 28th November 2022 and last until 2nd December 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
