The County Council of Durham (Stephen Street (Back), Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 18 meters of Stephen Street (Back), Consett from junction with rear Ainsley Terrace, between the rear of numbers 1-5 Stephen Street to enable new gas connection works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, no diversion will be available to vehicular traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 30/11/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 6 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
