Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1120 From A49 To Old School House Via Moreton-On-Lugg, Moreton-On-Lugg, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1120 From A49 To Old School House Via Moreton-On-Lugg, Moreton-On-Lugg, Moreton On Lugg Level Crossing. Grid Ref: 351217/245858. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1126 onto the C1125 onto Roman Road onto the A49 onto the C1120 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to track works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of December 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
