SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) C25 (Part), Ansty and Swallowcliffe; from its junction with C316 to its junction with Blind Lane to enable BT to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via C316 - A30 - C25 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 December 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. B) Tisbury Gates Lane (Part), Tisbury and West Tisbury; for a distance of approximately 50m either side of the level crossing to enable Network Rail Ltd to carry out level crossing and associated works. Alternative route via Tisbury Gates Lane (unaffected length) - East Hatch - Share Lane - C61 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 December 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until 20 December 2022. C) East Gomeldon Road (Part), Idmiston; from outside its property known as No.43 East Gomeldon Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out changes to signs, lines and associated electrical works related to the railway tunnel.
No alternative route is available.

This Order will come into operation on 14 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 for 5 days. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council 0300 456 0105. Orders A) to C) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO.19) 2022 (REF TTRO 8334)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

The order is required to enable carriageway micro asphalt dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 14 November 2022 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates.

Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Closures 1 and 2 are anticipated to take place between 14 November 2022 and 19 December 2022.

Closures 3 - 8 are anticipated to take place between 3 January 2023 and 17 February 2023.

1. Shoddesden Lane (Part), Ludgershall; from its junction with A342 to its county boundary with Hampshire.
2. C256 (Part), Ludgershall, Chute Forest and Chute; from its junction with Crawlboys Lane to a point approximately 550m east of its junction with Forest Lane.
3. C321 (Part), Firsdown, Pitton and Farley; from its junction with A30 to its junction with High Street.
4. High Street, Idmiston; from its junction with Gomeldon Road to its junction with Winterslow Road.
5. Goggs Lane, Redlynch; from its junction with Timberley Lane to its junction with Church Hill.
6. Pincroft Lane, Winterslow; from its junction with Clough Lane to its junction with Mill Lane.
7. A338 (Part), Tidworth; from its junction with Station Road to its county boundary with Hampshire.
8. Bulford Road (Part), Tidworth; from tis junction with Humber Lane to its junction with Tidworth Road.

1. via Shoddesden Lane (unaffected length) - Tidworth Road - A342.
2. via C256 (unaffected length) - C262 - C263 - A342 - C256 (unaffected length).
3. via High Street - Pitton Road - Firs Road - A30.
4. via Gomeldon Road - Winterslow Road.
5. via Grove Lane - Princes Hill - Quavey Road.
6. via Clough Lane - A30 - C335.
7. via A338 (unaffected length) - A3026 - A342 - A303 - A338 (unaffected length).
8. via Tidworth Road - Marlborough Road - Amesbury Road - A303 - A338 - Meerut Road -Bulford Road (unaffected length).
