HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE
PROPOSED DEDICATED DISABLED PARKING PLACES AND DISABLED PARKING PLACE CHANGES, VARIOUS ROADS, LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY,
THE HARINGEY FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS (AMENDMENT NO.66) ORDER 2022 THE HARINGEY CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES (AMENDMENT NO. 59) ORDER 2022 T44
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on the 31st October 2022 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.
The General Effects of the Orders would be:
(i) To remove standard Disabled Parking Bays, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.3 Solway Road N22, No.5 Woodberry Crescent N10, No.10 Elm Park Avenue N15, No.11 Elmar Road N15, No.11 Myddleton Road N22, No.13/No.15 Morrison Avenue N17, No.23 Kirkstall Avenue N17, No.26 Holmesdale Road N6, No.31 Talbot Road N6, No.38 Hewitt Avenue N22, No.43 Fairbourne Road N17, No.84 Seaford Road N15, No.93 Wargrave Avenue N15, No.94 Middle Lane N8.
(ii) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.6 Denmark Street N17, No.6 Frame Road N22, No.8 Vincent Road N15, No.9 Northwood Road N6, No.12 Crossfield Road N17, No.16 Russell Avenue N22, No.19 Hill Road N10, No.50 Tynemouth Road N15, No.65 Warham Road N4, No.71 Lothair Road South N4, No.83 Alexandra Road N8, No.95 Alexandra Park Road N10, No.181 Priory Road N8, No.234 Tower Gardens Road N17, No.242 Hermitage Road N4.
(iii) To convert existing Disabled Parking Bays to Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, operating at any time, whilst also extending them to measure 6.6 metres in length, No.19 Curzon Road N10, Rathcoole Gardens N8, No.30 Spencer Road N17, No.33 Everington Road N10, on Radley Road N17 adjacent to No.37 Bruce Grove, No.50 Truro Road N22, No.149 Castlewood Road N15, No.1-6 Greenwood House Pellatt Grove N22, No. 26 Nightingale Lane N8.
The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bay would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(v) To implement the relevant surrounding Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i) of this notice.
(vi) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(ii) of this notice.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 29th November 2022.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
