Section 14 - The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice Of Traffic Orders For Temporary Road And
Footpath Closures/Restrictions

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the following temporary orders:

(STR000403 Radnor Street, Swindon) This Order is being introduced for resurfacing works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Radnor Street between Shelley Street and Stanmore Street. Traffic to be diverted via Cambria Bridge Road, Faringdon Road, Westcott Place, Wootton Bassett Road and Stanmore Street. The Order comes into the force on the 23 November 2022 for 12 months but it expected that works will take place on Radnor Street on the 23 November 2022.
This Order is being introduced for resurfacing works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and parking on Radnor Street between Shelley Street and Stanmore Street. Traffic to be diverted via Cambria Bridge Road, Faringdon Road, Westcott Place, Wootton Bassett Road and Stanmore Street. (STR000447 Victoria Road and Bath Road, Old Town)
This Order is being introduced for the Old Christmas Light Switch On Event and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Victoria Road and Bath Road including between Union Row and Joiner Lane. Traffic to be diverted via Groundwell Road, Drove Road, Cricklade Street and Newport Street and or/via Eastcott Road, Eastcott Hill, Crombey Street, Curtis Street, Commercial Road, Regent Circus, Prince Street, Clarence Street. The Order comes into the force on the 27 November 2022 for 1 day only but the road closure will only be in place between 6pm and 9pm.

(STR000485 Severn Avenue, Haydon Wick) This Order is being introduced for Thames Water to carry out main replacement works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Severn Avenue between Ray Close and Orwell Close, Severn Avenue between Orwell Close and Coln Crescent, Severn Avenue between Coln Crescent and Calder Close and Severn Avenue between Calder Close and Thames Avenue. Access to Severn Avenue to be maintained. The Order comes into the force on the 21 November 2022 for 6 months but it expected that works will take place between 21 November 2022 to 23 December 2022.

(STR000486 County Road, Swindon) This Order is being introduced for health and safety reasons and will prohibit pedestrians from proceeding on the footway to the side of No 11 County Road. The Order comes into the force on the 21 November 2022 for 18 months.

This Order is being introduced for Thames Water to carry out main replacement works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Severn Avenue between Ray Close and Orwell Close, Severn Avenue between Orwell Close and Coln Crescent, Severn Avenue between Coln Crescent and Calder Close and Severn Avenue between Calder Close and Thames Avenue.
