(Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. 9) Order 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Chelmsford City Council acting on behalf of the South Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an agreement dated 31 March 2011 (and subsequently varied by Deed of Variation on 15 June 2011 and 27 July 2012) proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order: To introduce parking restrictions in Daws Heath, Thundersley and Canvey Island on the following lengths of roads in the Borough of Castle Point as specified. All measurements are taken as accurately as possible and are taken from the extended kerb line unless stated otherwise:
To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time'
Kingston Road, Thundersley
Both sides: From its junction with A13 Kiln Road northwards for 25 metres.

North side: From a point 10 metres west of its junction with Kingston Road eastwards to a point 23 metres east of its junction with Kingston Road.

East side: From a point 10 metres north of its junction with Daws Heath Road northwards to a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 11 & 15.

Both sides: From its junction with Triton Way and Lewes Way eastwards for 12 metres and westwards for 12 metres. Both sides: From where Common Lane joins Cedar Park Close eastwards for 10 metres.

This proposed Order may be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TQ790 890 Rev 0 to Rev 1, TQ795 832 Rev 0 to Rev 1, TQ795 877 Rev 0 to Rev 1, TQ795 890 Rev 0 to Rev 1 and TQ800 887 Rev 0 to Rev 1.

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, or write in support of it, you should either send an email to trafficreg@chelmsford.gov.uk or write to the undersigned, stating the reasons for your objection or support, by 29 November 2022. Any such representations will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under sections 100A-100K & Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972 if and when a report is made to the South Essex Parking Partnership Sub Committee.
