Fawley, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under Its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1262 White House Farm To New Cottages, Fawley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1262 White House Farm To New Cottages, Fawley, approximately 900 metres from Fawley Chapel Road. Grid Ref: 359489/230180. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1273 onto the C1272, onto the C1262 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of November 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
