Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: B4347 From Springetts Lane To A465, Ewyas Harold, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4347 From Springetts Lane To A465, Ewyas Harold, outside the property Glen Alva. Grid Ref: 339303/228936. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4347 onto the A465, onto the B4348, onto the B4347 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th of November 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 7 days.
