Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1049 Middleton Lane, Middleton On The Hill, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1049 Middleton Lane, Middleton On The Hill, at the junction with Church Lane. Grid Ref: 354385/264411. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Frog Lane onto Woonton Lane, onto A4112, onto the C1052 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to meter replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 5th of December 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
