The Vicarage 36 Sagars Road Handforth SK9 3EE Article 4(1) Direction 2022 CHESHIRE EAST BOROUGH COUNCIL ("the Council") HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that the Council being the appropriate local planning authority within the meaning of Article 4(5) of the Town and Council Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 ("the GPDO") has made a Direction pursuant to Article 4(1), paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 of the GPDO, being the Vicarage 36 Sagars Road Handforth SK9 3EE Article 4(1) Direction 2022 ("The Vicarage 36 Sagars Road Handforth Article 4 Direction 2022"), which affects land within Cheshire East Borough, and which restricts the types of development that may be undertaken without applying for and being granted planning permission. The Vicarage 36 Sagars Road Handforth Article 4 Direction 2022 applies to development consisting of the following permitted development rights:
1. Any building operation consisting of the demolition of a building as permitted by Class B of Part 11 of Schedule 2 of the GPDO
2. Any building operation consisting of the enlargement, improvement or alteration of a dwellinghouse as permitted by Class A of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the GPDO
The effect of The Vicarage 36 Sagars Road Handforth Article 4 Direction 2022 is that permission granted by
Article 3 of the GPDO shall not apply to the development listed above and such development shall not be carried out in respect of land at this address unless planning permission is granted by the Council on an application made under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
