Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Buttermarket St (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Buttermarket St from its jct. with Orford St to its jct. with Academy St. The Order will be effective from 6th November 2022 for 2 days, as & when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Mersey St, Bank St & Academy Way & via Academy St & Mersey St. The closure is required to allow for the demolition of New Town House. Ref: High/2402
