Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily close:

Neasham Road
From its junction at the A66 roundabout northwards to the north side of Brankin Road junction
Road closures between the A66 and Levisham
Lane will take place overnight.
An alternative route will be signed via A66,
Yarm Road and vice versa.

Brankin Road
From its junction with Neasham Road eastwards to the west side of Brankin Drive junction
An alternative route will be sign via Claremont Road, Geneva Road, Neasham Road and vice versa.
To allow footway and road surfacing works. Access to the Arena Vaccination Centre will be maintained and access to residents will be only when works allow.
The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 7th November 2022, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 3 weeks.
