Notice Of Confirmation Of Modification Orders
Section 53 Of The Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981

The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Mixbury Footpath Nos. 30, 31 and 32 Modification Order 2019

On the 23 September 2022, an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by: -Adding to them the footpaths:

1. from the bridge atthe Buckinghamshire County Boundary at grid reference SP 6208 3555, south for approx. 72 m, crossing a bridge, to SP 6207 3548.

2. from the south end of the bridge at grid reference SP 6207 3548, south-east for approx. 182 m to cross the bridge at SP 6220 3537, then east for approx. 83 m to the bridge at SP 6228 3536.

3. from the south end of the bridge at grid reference SP 6207 3548, south-west for approx. 424 m to the dismantled railway line at SP 6180 3516.

for Oxfordshire Kingham Bridleway No. 17 Modification Order 2022
On the 3 October 2022, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by: -Adding to them the bridleway from West End as shown on the List of Streets at OS grid reference SP 2570 2411, running north west for approximately 298 metres to meet existing Kingham Bridleway No. 4 at SP25512435. The orders as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by any of the orders wants to question their validity, on the ground that they are not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to any of the orders, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 3 November 2022, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
