Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kidlington, A4260 Frieze Way - 40 mph Speed Limit Date of Order: 7 November 2022 Coming into force: 14 November 2022 This Order continues in force a Notice commenced 24 October 2022 introduced because of highway improvements on the A4260 Frieze Way, Kidlington which is anticipated to be completed 31 March 2023. Between Sainsbury Rbt and Loop Farm Rbt on the south-westbound carriageway the national speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph, meeting the section of existing temporary 30 mph limit northeast of Loop Farm Rbt. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T11134/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Clattercote (Banbury) Footpath 170/6/40 Closure Date of Order: 3 November 2021 Came into force: 4 November 2022 This Order is introduced because of essential bridge repairs which are anticipated to be completed 22 December. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily part of Footpath 170/6/40 (between Lock 19 Claydon and Varneys Lock 23) as is carried by the railway bridge. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to property only to the point to closure. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route is via 170/1/10 and 170/4/20 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T11121/AC)
