Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) C8 (Part), Wilcot; from its property known as Bridge Cottage to outside property known as No.53 Wilcot Green to enable JJF LTD on behalf of The Canal and River Trust to carry out the rebuilding of Parapet Walls on the canal bride following a vehicle strike and associated works. Alternative route via C8 (unaffected length) - C52 - C268 - China Lane - C264 - C8 (unaffected length) and vice versa. b) C202 (Part), West Overton; from its junction with Bell Lane to outside property known as Cairncot to enable Thames Water to carry out sewer cleaning and associated works. Alternative route 1 via C202 (unaffected length) - C73 - A4 - Bell Lane and vice versa. Alternative route 2 via Wymans Hil - C73 -C202 (unaffected length) and vice versa. C) A4 Bath Road (Part), Chippenham; for a distance of approximately 20m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out a detailed underbridge examination and associated works. Alternative route via A4 (unaffected length) - A420 - A350 - A4 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. D) B4643 (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with B4528 for a distance of approximately 575m in a northerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out underground cable repairs via existing access points and associated works. Alternative route via B4528 - A4 - B4643 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:30 and 05:30 for 1 night. E) Hollow Lane (Part), Grafton; from its junction with Grafton Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out bridge strengthening and associated works. Alternative route via Grafton Road - Wilton Road - A338 - Hollow Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. F) C118 (Part), Christian Malford; for a distance of approximately 15m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge examination and other associated works. Alternative route via C118 (unaffected length) - B4069 - C375 - C113 - C134 - C118 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. G) Old Hardenhuish Lane (Part), Chippenham; from its roundabout junction with A420 for a distance of approximately 40 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out repair or replacement of cover or frame. Alternative route via Old Hardenhuish Lane (unaffected length) - Hardenhuish Lane - A420 Bristol Road and vice versa. H) Goatacre Lane (Part), Hilmarton; from outside property known as Stable Court for a distance of approximately 125m in a north westerly direction to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out works to enable customer service and associated works. Alternative route via Goatacre Lane (unaffected length) -Combe Lane - A3102 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 November 2022 and the closure will be required for 2 days. I) C267 (Part), Wootton Rivers; from its junction with C199 to outside its property known as Wootton House to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out land drainage repairs works as well as upgrade several drainage collection points to reduce water on highway. Alternative route via C267 (unaffected length) - C199 - C266 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 until 18 November 2022. J) Hugditch Lane (Part), Little Bedwyn; from outside its property known as The Bungalow for a distance of approximately 60m in a southerly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out a new service connection and associated works. Alternative route via Hugditch Lane (unaffected length) - A4 - C201 - Chisbury Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 November 2022 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Thames Water on 0800 316 9800. Orders A) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that on 26 October 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Marlborough Consolidation Order 2010 by revoking Map Schedule No DH92 dated 16/09/2019 and replacing it by the insertion of Map Schedule No DH92 dated 07/11/2022 the effect of which will be as follows: (a) To remove the existing No waiting at any time and introduce Parking Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm 2 hours No return within 2 hours on the following lengths of road: The Parade -north side - from a point approximately 22 metres west of its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 5 metres in an easterly direction; The Parade - south/south eastern side - from a point approximately 22 metres west of its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 9 metres in an easterly direction. (b) Remove the existing Parking Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm 2 hours No return within 2 hours and to introduce No waiting at any time on the south east side of The Parade - from a point approximately 10 metres west of the western boundary of the St Peter's School building for a distance of approximately 16 metres in a westerly direction. The Order will come into operation on 7 November 2022.

Order 2 - To amend The County of Wiltshire (Malmesbury and Malmesbury Without) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2017 (as amended) to change the on street pay and display parking charges available in Cross Hayes, Malmesbury to 1hr - £0.70 and 2hrs - £1.70.
