Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Wiveliscombe Temporary Closure of Grants Lane

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Grants Lane - from the junction with Billy Lane, westwards for a total distance of 189 metres. This Order will enable Gigaclear to carry out works to locate and clear a blockage.
The Order becomes effective on 3rd November 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 9th November 2022 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 1 day. Please visit
