Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of North Street

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along North Street - 11 metres west from the junction with Burgage westwards for a total distance of 50 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out works to complete a line clean. The Order becomes effective on 17th November 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 27th November 2022 for one day between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 9 hours. There Is no alternative route for this closure.
