Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of Longforth Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Longforth Road - from the junction with Churchfeilds north westwards for a total distance of 135 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out works for a pole replacement. The Order becomes effective on 17th Novemer 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 20th November 2022 for one day between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 6 hours. Please visit
