Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Temporary Closure of Clifford Avenue, Taunton

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Clifford Avenue - From outside the Property number 30 in a northerly direction to outside the property number 42 for a total distance of 86 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water works to replace a Section 81 in the carriageway. The Order becomes effective on 3rd November 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 9th November 2022 and last until 10th November 2022 between the hours of 07:00 -15:30 for a total of 2 days. Please visit
