Parish of Norton Fitzwarren Temporary Closure of Rectory Road
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Rectory Road - from the junction with Hilly Park northwards for a total distance of 215 metres. This Order will enable Airband to carry out works to install new ducts, polling and cabling. The Order becomes effective on 17th November 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd November 2022 and last until 28th November 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 7 days.
