Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Trull Temporary Closure of Wyatts Field and Southwell Close

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Wyatts Field -116 metres from the junction with Honiton Road eastwards for a distance of 50 metres; and Southwell Close - from the junction with Wyatts Field Southwards for its entirety. A total distance of 162 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre to carry out utility repair and maintenance works. The Order becomes effective on 17th November 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 21st November 2022 and last until 23rd November 2022 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 3 days. There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements.
