(Old Road, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Cambridge Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southeasterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of Old Road, Harlow for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2022 for 396 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153068499 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal decommissioning and carriageway development works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Old Road, Hart Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Stow, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of The Stow, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Howard Way for a distance of approximately 90m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole and cable installation works are undertaken by
T Mobile Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Howard Way, First Avenue, Orchard Croft, The Stow and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 10th November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway and a 30 MPH Speed Limit) (No.8) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on those lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 10th November 2022, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th November 2022 for 73 days (work will be done in separate phases), or where stated on a valid permit (EC30022461284 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Coldharbour Road, Fourth Avenue, Elizabeth Way, Third Avenue and vice versa.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Coopersale Lane, Theydon Bois/Theydon Garnon in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Hobbs Cross Road to its junction Abridge Road a distance of approximately 1665m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th November 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2335677 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Hoe Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Hoe Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 995m northwest then southwest of its junction with Betts Lane for a distance of approximately 120m in a southwesterly then westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th November 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30070084932 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while link box replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Hoe Lane, Middle Street, Nazeing Common, Betts Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 27th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Tendring Road, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Tendring Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Tripton Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a northeasterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of Tendring Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Tripton Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a northeasterly direction for the duration of the above closure only

"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th November 2022 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2323582 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while parking area installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Tendring Road, Tillwicks Road, Southern Way, Tawneys Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 27th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
