(Goring) (Speed Limits) Order 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Goring, incorporating the existing 20mph speed limit on the High Street and replacing the majority of the existing 30mph speed limits, leading out of the village to points on:

1. Elvendon Road - to a point 405 metres west of its junction with Summerfield Rise,

2. Gatehampton Road - to a point 528 metres southeast of its junction with Reading Road,

3. High Street - to a point 640 metres west of its junction with Wallingford Road,

4. Icknield Road - to a point 660 metres northeast of its junction with Springhill Road,

5. Reading Road - to its junction with Whitehills Green,

6. Wallingford Road - to a point 470 metres north of its junction with Springhill Road.

Thereafter, stretches of existing 30mph speed limit on the Reading Road & Wallingford Road will remain in place, having taken the current road environment & traffic usage into account.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Goring Parish) Order 1999, and the Oxfordshire County Council (High Street, Goring) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2003 will be revoked/replaced as necessary. Copies may be made available on request. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 02 December 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Letcombe Bassett And Letcombe Regis) (Speed Limits) Order 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the parish council - is to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Letcombe Bassett only, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, leading out of the village to points on:
1. Bassett Road - a point 396 metres northeast of its junction with Rectory Lane,

2. Gramps Hill - a point 167 metres southeast of its junction with Bassett Road/Holborn Hill,

3. Holborn Hill - a point 507 metres northwest of its junction with Gramps Hill.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Letcombe Bassett and Letcombe Regis) (30 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2014 will be revoked/replaced as necessary. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:
