The County Council of Durham (Plantation Street, Leadgate) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) Order 2022

The Council on 28/10/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding in a northerly direction on side Plantation Street, between numbers 52 and 53, toward Front Street, Leadgate to enable electric cable renewal works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic locally via rear, side and front of Front Street. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 9/11/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
