JUNCTION PROTECTION - PTO1024/PTO1040.P2/ PTO1046.P2
Southend-on-Sea City Council on 28th October 2022 made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended) proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)
1. The general effect of the Orders will be:-To install junction protection; no waiting at any time (double yellow lines) AND no loading or unloading at any time (double yellow kerb blip markings) at approximately 10 metres at each of the junction locations below:
PTO1024 - Thorpe Ward Junction Protection:
(a) Brettenham Drive with Woodgrange Drive
(b) Brettenham Drive with and Wyatts Drive
(c) Butterys with Woodgrange Drive
(d) Butterys with The Butterys (Eastern and Western)
(e) Chelsworth Close with Chelsworth Crescent
(f) Chelsworth Crescent with Woodgrange Drive (Easter and Western)
(g) Dungannon Chase with Dungannon Drive (North and Southern)
(h) Dungannon Drive with Johnstone Road
(i) Glebe Close with Butterys
(j) Johnstone Road with Johnstone Road Roundabout (Eastern)
(k) Johnstone Road with Marcus Avenue (Eastern and Western)
(l) Marcus Chase with Marcus Avenue
(m) Marcus Gardens with Marcus Avenue
(n) Rodbridge Drive with Woodgrange Drive
(o) Rodbridge Drive with Wyatts Drive
(p) St Augustines Avenue with Johnstone Road Roundabout (Southern)
(q) Thurlow Drive with Woodgrange Drive
(r) Thurlow Drive with Wyatts Drive
(s) Wyatts Drive with Woodgrange Drive
PTO1040.P2 - Phase 2 - Eastwood Ward Junction Protection:
(a) Eastwood Rise with Gravel Road (Eastern and Western)
PTO1042.P2 - Phase 2 - Belfairs Ward Junction Protection:
(a) Gleneagles Road with Moor Park Gardens
2. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 28th October 2022 and all relevant documents can also be viewed online at www.southend.gov.uk/tro until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
3. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
4. A copy of each of the made Orders and all relevant documents can be inspected on the Ground Floor of the Civic Centre (address below) during normal office hours.
