Notice of Consultation on the further Main Modifications to Epping Forest District's emerging Local Plan

Epping Forest District Council hereby gives notice, in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 and the Council's adopted Statement of Community Involvement, that Consultation on the further Main Modifications to the Epping Forest District Local Plan (Submission Version 2017) will launch on 28 October 2022.

The emerging Local Plan is at an advanced stage within the Examination process.

In June 2022, the Plan Inspector confirmed that further Main Modifications are required to the Plan in order for it to be determined 'sound'.

This stage of consultation is therefore inviting representations on the Council's proposed further Main Modifications to the Plan.

Representations are invited from noon on Friday 28 October 2022 until 5pm on Friday 09 December 2022 and can be made online, by email or by post. See www.efdclocalplan.org for full details.

The Main Modifications Schedule and associated supporting documents are available on the Local Plan website at www.efdclocalplan.org. Hard copies of the Local Plan Submission Version 2017 and the Main Modifications Schedule are available at libraries throughout the District and these materials, plus supporting documents are available by appointment at the Civic Offices in Epping.
