TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.26) Order 2022" authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed highway which lies to the west of no.88 Holbek Road at Canvey Island, Essex in the Borough of Castle Point. This is to enable development as permitted by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, under appeal reference APP/M1520/W/20/3257435.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/4924. They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Castle Point Borough Council, Planning Department, Kiln Road, Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex, SS7 1TF.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 28 October 2022.
