The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpaths Nos. 71(F) and 149, High Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 149, High Wycombe and, in that length of Public Footpath No. 71(F), High Wycombe, from Public Footpath No. 149, High Wycombe, for 10m. The closures are required whilst new gas supply works take place, commencing on 7 November 2022 for 33 days. Alternative route is via the existing public highway network. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 November 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Portway Road, Twyford in the Parish of Twyford CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Portway Road for approximately 60m. Alternative route: Portway Road, Steeple Claydon Road, Main Street, Charndon To Marsh Gibbon Road, Marsh Gibbon To Charndon Road, Castle Street, Church Street, Station Road, Marsh Gibbon Road, Twyford Road, Twyford To Marsh Gibbon Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water defect in the carriageway take place commencing on 12 November 2022 between 22:00 and 06:00.
